Okay, I'll try to hit the high-points:
NJ - I don't have a mag in the M16 because we were at the range the day that was taken. Only when on the firing line. You know how that works.
For the observant one (godspeed409), yes, that picture was taken in Kuwait. Due to the wind/sand I was trying to cover up as much as possible. Now that I've actually seen a sandstorm...that day wasn't shiot
I'm not sure if I could legally say where I'm at, but I'm in the Al Anbar Province. I'm with the Navy SeaBees (Construction Battalion), and we're assigned to the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force. We've been doing quite a few projects outside the wire while working with the Marines and by ourselves. Lots of cool stuff and stories to tell when I get home.
If I hear the word Hydrate after I leave this place, someone might get hurt. All hydrate means is that you're going to piss every hour at least. Don't forget the 1am wake-up call for the bathroom. When I'm outside, I grink about 1 liter of water every hour, and I'm not sure that's even enough.

This was taken while putting up razor wire when we were building a new Combat Outpost. We took over some houses to use as military structures, and we were setting up the perimeter security with the Marines. This was a neighbors house.
