Picked her up today, and rode all the way home from Colo in the rain. K5 Busa, with only 3,200 km's on the clock, and is completely stock standard. (not for long)
I typed Hayabusa into ebay under motorbike parts, and my pc nearly crashed trying to bring up all the results. Sweet
I did have one small drama. Pulled off the gravel driveway where I picked it up, and while I know the Blade handled exceptionally well, after a few bends, I was wondering what I had done. Had I made a huge mistake? I've owned one of these before. Granted, I had NO idea how to ride it, but it surely didn't handle this badly did it. I pulled into the first gassy I came to, and checked the tyre pressures. OMG 15psi in the front, and 18psi in the rear. Put the correct pressures in, then off home. Ah, that's more like it. Not quite the telepathic steering of the Blade, but very acceptable. Couldn't tell much from the wet, straight ride home, so will give a better report once i've put her through her paces. I can say, it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more comfortable than the Blade.
Will post some pics once i've taken some when the rain has stopped.
p.s. Stock pipes suck. They look and sound like s%#t, and had about 4 cars change lanes on me causing evasive action on my part. (and some interesting hand gestures)
