Helluva story for my first busa

And two months later due to a single back ordered fairing doodad, I finally got to ride my busa home today! Holy crap I'm not telling you guys anything you don't know but crap! I expected the power and torque (my other two bikes are a zh2 and superduke), but the smoothness of everything from braking to shifting to the engine just surprised me. It feels so well engineered and built.

Anyway I was informed that if pics weren't forthcoming I could expect a mob with torches and pitchforks, so here we are:

I know the kanji is a must on the fairing but I like this color without the kanji

Good looking bike for sure...

For a big 'ol beastie they will surprise you when you get frisky with the throttle...

You mean I got a put away my torches and pitchforks?....

What a great journey, hell of a story, great devotion, great pics, and a happy ending.

Welcome to the ORG........"You will be assimilated".:p

PS Welcome to Hayabusa ownership. It really is a great machine.

Ok gang. Put a couple hundred miles on over the weekend. And look I know I’m preaching to the choir.... but remind me why this isn’t the generally accepted best bike out there? Everything from the gear box to the brakes to the controls everything feels so high quality/well engineered. And I’m no stranger to powerful bikes - the busa joins a superduke and a zh2 in my garage. But neither feel as refined and composed while still bringing the heat when you want it.
Kinda rambling, I just can’t believe how damn useable this bike is and overall my expectations were drastically exceeded.
Thanks for the warm welcome and look forward to learning from you guys.
