Well, the decision is final. I went out and bought an Arai RX-7 Corsair. I couldn't believe how light it is. If I didn't know Arai's reputation for quality, I would have thought it was a cheap helmet.
The Medium with the standard pads fits pretty well, although over time I might get a different set of cheek pads. The view is much better than the HJC. The helmet doesn't creep down my forehead like the other one did.
Overall, I'm very impressed so far. I only have one complaint though...Due to Arai's brilliant designers putting all the extra vents in...Riding in 35 degree weather makes your head a little chilly. At least the ventilation on the HJC sucked, so it kept your head warm in the winter. I guess I'll just have to buy one of the pullover hoods to wear underneath.
