Just to bump this up a tad and add a longterm update. The Stainless steel ones I made have been great. I did a 90 minute ride with one of my helmets on the hook while the cowl was on. Held like a charm. Speeds were constant above 65mph most of the trip. One of my best mods to date for sure.

Wouldn't be worth cost for forged, but definitely am putting 100% infill in PLA+ on Etsy shop and eBay ASAP. Kinda forgot about them until came across my model

I still have a few of the original run I had my nephew make.
If anyone is willing to just pay shipping and donate to my girl who packages them and runs them to the post I can send out what is left.

Tried to get a good pattern, but stuffing this mold from the bottom fibers are separated more for marble effect. Satin clear.

If I think about it I'll weigh it and the 100% infill PLA+ one to see how much lighter plastic is, lol. Volume was right around 4mg in the model.
