I almost Got Talked into buying a $400 SHOEI Helmet........

The Parts Guy at the Dealership Insisted that ARAI and SHOEI are the Best Helmets. After ALL it's only Your HEAD is what He Said !!!!!

That's after I Told Him that I Wear a BLUE ZEP Helmet that I got for $75.00

Just Wanna be Safe !!!!

well back to helmets i just like the fit of my rf100. i normally were my arai for rides less then 4hrs after that hit hurts my ears.

I have an Scorpion exo 700, and LOVE it. I think they're up to 900's now ? But if I had the extra cake, I'd get one of the top 3 (Arai, Shoei, and YES Suomy is one of the top's IMO),

Me too, but I think that's how we are raised in America, it costs more, so it must be BETTER ?? Not saying that's the case with helmets. I think all you have to do is look at the people (racers) who could have whatever they wanted, the best of the best, and see what they want ??

racers wear their endorsements. any DOT helemt should be euqually safe. i wore the cheapest when i crashed.

The $70 ZEP Helmet is Physycally Smaller than my HJC Helmet although it's DOT Approved and SNELL Rated

I Just Want the Best Protection for My EGG and was just Wondering if PRICE Really Makes a Differance ?

These guys test the helmets in a number of ways and certify them as safe for use. I won't wear a helmet that isn't SNELL certified.

A real SNELL sticker is found inside the helmet under the lining.

It should look something like this

The M2000 and M1995 are different colors but same sticker

A sticker on the outside is not a SNELL certification. Regardless, the listing on their website is the final word on certified manufacturers. Sorry.

OK I am an IDIOT !!!!!!!!!   I have a "ZAMP" Helmet............Not a ZEP Helmet.  Sometime's  I think I am Getting OLD

"ZAMP" is SNELL Certified !!!
