help installing HID switch!

Well now that I have HID's I have to install a light switch so I dont have to start my bike a certain way. So whats a good switch to get and best place and way to install it and how to. Anyone have pointers. What do I splice and what do I need for supplies.

little more info might help but if this is a delay issue a capacitor set inline with your hid kit will fix the problem

ok here it is check out this thread before you go building a switch this fixes the problem with the lights on start up I posted for page three where the capacitance is listed but there's more info on page one and two also

I used the delay timer method.

I think I may also try head east busa's capacitor idea on the high beams for when I forget to turn them off before starting the bike. The delay timer only works with the lows.

I have no clue. I was told that having the lights come on when I turn the key then off when I press the start button and then back on is bad for the HID. So I will do a retart swith but seems hard to install.
