yeah, I did some more searching and found a thread in which Brock himself replied about the method they use to make sure it isnt the first thing to touch. So as of right now, I dont really have any problems with the alienhead (other than losing the dual side, which sucks, but not too big a deal). So I am going to try it out, and hopefully it isnt too loud, cus I am really liking it...
and what is up with that pic above? Is there a smaller bike hiding behind the busa or something?

use the money to pay off debt which has the highest interest rate. this would most likely be credit card debt. if you don't owe on credit cards, put half towards the principle on your mortgage and other half in saving. if you don't have a mortgage, put all the money in a saving account until something important comes up, then you will not need to borrow.

So as Im getting a PC from got-busa with the pipe, will I be alright running a map from Brock, or do I really need to get a custom tune? I know I will be the best off getting a custom tune, but how close does the Brock map get it? Will I see a significant gain with a custom tune over the Brock map?

You'll be fine with Brocks base map, but a dyno tune will make it better. PM JGGUNNS and ask him about his Alienhead tuned with Ecu Editor.

If you have an ECU Editor interface I will send you a file for it that was Dyno Tuned for my bike. It won't be perfect(none of them will be perfect from one bike to another) but it will be closer than importing a PC map into ECU Editor. If you are going to manage your fuel with a PC I can't help you with that. I would just run Brocks map until I could put it on a Dyno.
That's cool. Just know that with Ecu Ed.($208) you can turn off 1st through 4th gear timing restrictions/top speed limiter, pair valve, open stp's to full 94%, turn fans on earlier, map all 8 injectors(pc can only do 4) and alot of other things. It works with any exhaust, and Smith or a member most likely has a map for any common exhaust. Keep the pipe if you like, sell the pc for the cost of the Ecu Ed., get GUNS map, go faster

yeah I would really like to pick up an ecu editor sometime, at least to remove the restrictions... but I am no tuner, and I figure what is most likely is that I will blow my engine somehow dicking around with it. So I would have to take it to a tuner to have it done, which means more money. So I am going to ride it around with the PC and brocks map for a while until I decide to drop the money for an ECU flash/tuning...
Do you already have a PC? An ecu flash is not that much more expensive than a PC...
