I asked the dealer what the black tag was for whenever I bought my busa when they told me to never lose the keys as they, nor any Suzuki dealer, could make duplicates using just the numbers.......anyway, wth.
I found the second key. It has the black tag on it with the key code. I suppose that Suzuki put the key code on the black tag so they could taunt us if we ever lost our keys?
I got the same response from Yamaha Suzuki of Texas.
Anyway, finding it made my day. Now I can unlock the gas cap and put fuel in. I had to empty it so it could go into storage. Now that I have it back, in goes the gas with Staybil. It is 8 degrees here tonight. It will be a while before it is bike weather again.
