I have an 07 busa I have went with steell braided brake lines, I have double H pads I am getting very sponge feel at my lever. I have bleed them out numerous times, but can;t get rid of the spongey feeling, that same feeling was there as well with my rubber hoses feels the same. I did buy the lines used. there is no sight of a fluid leak, but am wondering if the lines could have pin holes or something of the sort letting in air. I am up for ANY suggestions. I will buy all new system just need to know some recommendation of what to get or what could be the casue

Sounds like air in the lines, Bleeding these things can be a real B**ch

Do you have someone assisting you with the bleeding? You may still have some air in the line. If there's a hole in the line you're gonna find fluid. If there's no air and no holes then it's gonna be a faulty cylinder or the calipers.

I would start with a good bleed of the system, brake fluid is cheap.

You might want to invest in a black bleeding system like the mightyvac or something similar. That will help make bleeding the brakes a one person job and eliminate any possible air getting into the system due to bleeding.

Also, how old are the brake lines? You said you bought them used so I'll mention that brake lines, even braided, only have a life of about 4 - 5 years. When pumping the brakes have you noticed any part of the line expanding? If so you will need to replace the line.

We have a few sponsors that sell great brake lines. Check with Pashnit, Goldenchild, etc and they can get you a good deal with even better customer service.
