I got back into school and need to give a presentation, so I figured why not do it on drag racing. A few quick questions...
What tire temp is ideal after burnout?
What are the most popular different types of racing to be done? (bracket, etc.)
What I need the most help on: Sponsorships, contingency money, etc.
This is the side I'm not too familiar with. I assume that sponsorships come typically in the form of parts/discounts on parts, correct?
Then contingency money comes from using parts, showing stickers (with required sizes and in certain areas) with money in the form of cash after placing or winning, correct?
What's the story on the fastest of the fast? I assume that most of these bikes are from a bike shop or a manufacturer's bike, or maybe a couple manufacturers working together?
Elaboration would be appreciated, or if you could point me in the direction of some helpful links... thanks!
