Hey anyone know how to burn a DVD?

I have a new HP with windows media center bought some DVD-R's  but dont know what the next step is?

 

I've done a bunch of CD's before no prob but cant figure the DVD thngy.

well if you mean by copy dvd's to mean going out and renting and copying....that is kinda illegal and I won't post it here but if you want some info I can get you some...just send me a pm

yes, but keep in mind some now are code so they can not be copied too.

yes, but keep in mind some now are code so they can not be copied too.

I use several programs to do the ones that are encoded i would use that one for all but it takes longer.

I use

Nero
DVDsrink-Free download if you can find it
DVD Decryptor---also free
DVD FAB....I think that is its name Free also...It decodes Sony's copywrite encoding

All of them will work alone or you might have to use them together depending on the movie also can use freedvd ,or DVDxCopy

Thanx guyz, My bad, I shoulda said I made my own video of footage I took last summer and can make a 360 MB file to copy to CD. ( but is so so quality on the play back ) But the original 17 minute film is 3.1 gb and I wanted to place it on a DVD because disk says it can hold up to 4.7gb so now anyone have a suggestion?
