The HIDs actually use less power than the factory lights. This includes in rush current.

actually, the HID's will draw more on initial fire, then uses 1/4 of regular halogens

Hello All, New to the site. Did anyone figure out what the cause of this was? I have the DEI timer and it had been happening to me as well. Seems to be some sort of power surge when you crack the throttle. I have the power to the delay coming from the original low beam wires.

Seems to be some sort of power surge when you crack the throttle. I have the power to the DEI delay coming from the original low beam wires. Could this be the problem or does that even matter?
