Hid headlight problem

Two ways....
First if your bike is older than 04

Second if your bike is newer than 04

Remove the left side dash. Unplug the 6 pin connector & change the yellow & white wire positions. Everything functions as before except the lights are switched.

Where do the '04s fit into the mix?

Relay method or wire swap method?

I think after 04 or 05,the circuit to the lights is automatically cut by the ignition during the starting process.

I think '05 was the first year that Zuk started cutting power to the headlight during the starting cycle.

My '04 keeps the Headlight on.

Does that mean '04 and earlier require the Relay method?
