Higher speed stability

OH no.........say it aint so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you removed your reflectors?:super:?:super:??? Holy crap!!!!!!!! You are dangerous!!!! PLEASE tell me that you changed your blinker fluid first!!! Oh god...please tell me you did!!!!!!!!!!!

Careful when you trim your rear fender on that mod, it is designed to put a lifting force on the tail at high speed which puts a down force on the front and stops the front from coming up and over above 120 MPH. Trim just a little at a time (1/8th inch max) and test ride it to at least 150 MPH, before you trim any more or you may be sorry. Heed my warning......It almost got me! Trimming too much is a very bad thing.

My reflectors have been on my workbench since day one!

Even at this point, I have no idea what my instabilities are from?

 Thats funny....Maybe try just a touch more Prozac?:super:

He he....

See, this is exactly what I was talking about...If you do not Recalibrate the AAC in the ECU when you trim the RMF (rear Mud Flap) the resultant instability can creat a serious WTF?  Then of course if you go FWO you find yourself SOL and end up DOA...OK???

If you are lucky there will be an EMT in the AOR who knows CPR that can keep you 5/5 until your ETA at the ER. Then pray you get an experianced Trauma Care Specialist (TCS) who can get you a CAT, PET, and an MRI before writing an RX for THC, because you are trully FUBAR...

Yeah I know...

I give up, Rev, you win!!!! :)
hahahahahaha
What was the question?? Talk about SERIOUS derailment here

Ummm, Instability...He He I think were on target!!!!!

As I read through this thread, I quickly forget what in the hell it was all about...think it's a blonde thing?  :drink:

Rev - you a big NIN fan?  You guys are killing me with this topic... :D

I'm a huge NIN Fan. Trents the man... Pretty much formed the background music of my life for a lot of years...

Oh and seeing as we completely beat anything useful outta this thread I moved it to Random Thoughts....

See...don't even remember what the thread was initially about...hell, I didn't know it wasn't in "Random Thoughts" anyway... :D

I like Trent too...I have always been a huge Bowie fan as well, but when the two hooked up...well, let's just say that Bowie's really too old to hang with Trent, though they did a song or two that wasn't too bad...at least my ears weren't bleeding...

How's all of that for really screwing this thread?! :tounge:

The answer is so simple. Seen this many times. You got some Zaino and put it on wrong didn't you. You criss-crossed the application pattern somewhere along the way and created a hydraulic in the air flow in that area, causing a vacuum in the vortex, which in turn causes the apex to coincide with the e-zone and now the y-zone has to compensate. The only way to fix it is to use aircraft paint stripper to remove the Zaino and start over. Be sure to wear protective eye gear and a respirator with the stripper. ;)

Headache Michelle? :super: Should have used a respirator around that paint stripper like I said.

I was kinda thinking you could get unstable with chrome valve caps.Or perhaps its the linear mis-adjustment laser guided cush-drive hydrogen cooled flux capacitor thats the real issue here!!

I still have a photo of my busa when it was a virgin...
big rear fender, reflectors, stickers, no license plate... beautiful.
