Welcome, I was fortunate enough to get to visit Scotland last summer and the whole time in the Highlands I was thinking how cool it would be to ride the busa up there. I am afraid I would kill myself on the roundabouts back in the cities though.
Roundabouts can be well dodgy in UK, its the small ones that are most dangerous especially in damp/wet conditions because of the diesel spills from dodgy transport as you have more lean/turn to get round them.
Its getting harder as the years go by to enjoy a good ride without the long arm of the law hiding in a bush round the next corner ready to jump out with a radar gun etc. There even running around on un-marked bikes fitted with all the cameras etc. Some police forces are even running hayabusa's themselves over here.
