Hit by bird

Just reading about Appaloosa-Busa nearly being hit by a turkey whilst out riding, I was hit by a pigeon in the back of the head once the thing is I wasn't on my bike I was in Burger King. I was sitting inside with my girlfriend and something hit me in the back of the head really hard and smashed my head against the window I thought someone had punched me in the back of the head, I looked round and could not see anything nor could my girlfriend, then I heard some fluttering and looked down to see the pigeon under the table. The staff were scared of it but chased it out, it was so ridiculous that me and my girlfriend coudn't stop laughing. Also I was walking down the street and a cat fell on me out of a tree.

i had a turkey fly into my car window while on the highway and it exploded my window and i had cuts in my ears and side of face and arm....

had a bird fly into the side of my helmet while riding through town...thud...feathers rolling down road...poor bird...lol

Back in my high school days, I hit a pheasant while riding back from the local motocross track. I was on my 1973 Honda Elsinore, and making a quick run on a state hwy for about 3/4 of a mile to my house. My little step-brother was on the back of the bike and we were smokin' along in top gear when the pheasant few up from the side of the road on my left. I kind of ducked and the bird hit my chest up by my left shoulder and to the left of my neck. It didn't hurt and only jerked the bike around a little. But when we got home I saw the real damage. My little step-brother was all covered in bird crap. The collision knocked the crap out of the bird. He had it on his face, neck, chest and all over his helmet.

I was going about 80mph and was hit by a big black on my arm in 2007, his beak broke off in my mesh jacket. I pulled over and got the beak out of my jacket, took me a wile to do so.
I kept the beak as a souveiner.

Remind me not to go to the Zoo with you!

Turkeys can be very bad. They are big enough to knock you off the bike and usually travel in a cackle of 2 or more. i once had a hawk follow me at bike level for about 3 miles. Stayed right along the side of me.

I was driving 'bout 30mpg. And there was the belly and open talons of an owl
swooping by my window. Glad I had it rolled up.

Yrs ago in TN coming back from Jack Daniels Distillery which used to be one of my favorite rides. Not for the obv but just for the ride I cut a racoon almost in half on my ZX11.
Was going around 80-90 when it crossed road in front of me.
Had no time to do anything other than gun it. Lightened the front wheel and ran right over him.
Animal lover that I am I stopped to turn around and make sure it was dead cuz I did want it to suffer and it was ripped rght open and almost in half.
By the time I got home stuff was dried on but good and took me forever to clean it off.
