Kenosha News | Family survives, dogs die in fire

Ladies and gents of the .org,

The link above will take you to a story about a really great kid who I know through work and his family who lost their entire home and two dogs in a fire last friday. Having been through a house fire myself, I know personally the heart ache and devastation that this family is feeling right now. The pictures, memories, their beloved dogs, and everything else that they owned are sitting in a pile of ash as you read this.

I really want to help a great family get back on their feet again in any way that I can. I would love to see the .org come together in the amazing way that it does and help me help this family. I will be accepting donations if anyone can, and would like to help. For those of you who do donate, I will put all of your names in a hat and draw one name. The person who's name I pick, will receive the prize of an Under Armour product selected by the both of us. That is all I can offer. I am really hoping that we can pull together for this family who is suffering a terrible hardship. Whatever donations come in will be presented in the form of a check, to the family. I will make sure that they know that it is from the gracious people of Hayabusa.org and not myself personally. I will take donations for one week and then do the drawing at the end of that week. Lets rally for these great folks, what do ya say?!?!?! I would just like to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who sends their prayers and anyone who can make a donation. Please PM me for a paypal addy or a mailing address, which ever you'd prefer.

Also, I just wanted to add that this has been approved by the admins that I have spoken with. Thank you admins for allowing this:bowdown:

Hey Mikey, is there a Paypal set up for this? Also, do they have any teenage daughters (I have clothes from my 16 year old that I was going to give away). Plus I have some winter stuff I can part with.

Hey, Mikey...you should put the PayPal addy in that thread so people can just click and donate.

Also it'd be good to add here that if people want to donate clothing or something, they can PM you for an address to which to send them. Some kind of indication as to gender, age and size would be infinitely beneficial in this effort.

Good point. My paypal addy is redmenbaseball10@aol.com. Any money that comes in, I'll know why. If anyone would like to offer clothing, shoes, anything along those lines, please PM me for my mailing address and I'll be sure to get that to the family ASAP. The kid I know is 17 and he has a twin brother. I'm not sure the sizes for the brother but Cory is 5'10"ish and about 160-170lbs. Thanks again everyone.

NEW ITEM INCLUDED IN PRIZE

I received a PM from someone who wants to remain anonymous. I was told by this person that I can offer up a complete H.I.D. kit for a vehicle of the winners choosing. So the persons who's name is drawn will receive an Under Armour product and a complete H.I.D. kit for any vehicle you choose.

What an incredible offer! Thank you so much for you generosity!

Mikey: I added your PayPal info to the bottom of your thread-launching post.

I don't have anything for teenage boys (calm down kids...you know what I mean). Do we know what size the mom wears? I might be able to help there as well.

Head East- PM sent

Lynn and Kevin- I am waiting to hear back from them on the parents sizes and what we had PMed about. When I know, you will know. Thank you again!

Scar- Thanks for the paypal help. I've never done anything like this so any help is much appreciated. I just want to help as much as possible.

And you wonder why people look out for you.

Just glad to help Bro'. Your friends are my friends

Drawing will be held this weekend. The odds of getting some sweet UA stuff and a complete H.I.D. kit for a vehicle of your choice for those who have donated are pretty high. Thanks again to those folks. I'll be getting ahold of the person who's name I draw on monday. Thanks again folks, you're the best:bowdown:

did you ever get clothing sizes? I have some of my clothes I'd be willing to part ways with.
