Yea, I know where Im going today. Gotta go to the best hotdog stand in the Chicago area. Lucky Dog on Rooselvelt Rd. in Cicero. Two dogs and fries bout 5.50, Gas to get there and back 40.00. Well worth the trip.

chili & sour krout
relish,onions & mustard
Thanks guys now I'm hungry

Chicago Style, is there any other?

Or how about a Maxwell street Polish?

Coming from Texas you seem to know alot about our FINE Chicago cuisine. Are you from this area? Maxwell Street (the REAL MAXWELL STREET) stand closed some years ago,Urban development. Often imitated, never duplicated.

I lived up in the McHenry/Fox Lake area for a couple of years and that's how they made them there, just they were Bratwurst instead of hotdogs.
Man, those things were good! Actually those Brats were about the only thing I liked about living there. Them and Blarney's Island bar in the summer time.
