I superglued My helmet to my head 4 years ago and now i walk like quazzimodo and the kids ask if ive got their football under my t-shirt

Get one with a quick release and you'll be set.

There is one right way if you want your helmet to do it's job.

Any other way isn't the right way.

Through both rings, split rings return between them and cinch tight/snug. Snap loose strap end to ring.

I strap it depending on how I feel (slip knot, bowline, etc). Since we're talking about helmets, here's how I wear mine.

The quick release...ah will also quickly come off when it hits the ground as well! I only know of one way to strap....UNLESS you and your friend are 2 chicks, then that word HAS a hole new meaning that we can not you help here!

Just like my shoes. Fold the straps over each other and make a bowtie.......But I hate when one of the loops is bigger than the other. I feel like a dork!

I grew tired of having my chin strap too tight or too loose. So I purchased the quick release buckle widget thing. Works real well and I don't have to worry about how to "correctly" affix my helmet to my head.

I use one of these. When I don't it goes through both and back through one like everyone else has said. I didn't think there was another way.

99 - This quick clip isn't very large, it's just over an inch long, you can't even tell it's on there. There are other clip designs out there, but this one uses the metal in the clipping mechanism, while others use plastic.
