Bought my '07 last fall for $7,500...all stock, 8K miles. I would say your prospect is fairly valued at $6,000.

I lowballed at 5900, he countered with 6300 and..... we closed the deal at 6200

I gave $7500 for an '06 with a new rear tire, new chain, GIPro w/tre, PC III, Speedo Healer, Corbin seat, lowering links, 16/40 gearing (I have the 17 sprocket also),and double bubble windshield. Had 6k miles on it. Don't know if this helps you or not.

Prices are regional, check the market in your area ie. (c-list and trader) and don't low ball. Make an honest offer. I sold my 06 le couple months back had a guy try to low ball me and I refused to sale to him even when he offered my asking price. Guess I'm just special.... He really wanted it too. I thought it was funny? Maybe because I didn't have to sale I wasn't in the mood for games!
