How much yall paying for Hayabusa in 2022?

I'd love to see the price breakdowns & dates on some of these. It's always interesting to see where the dealership moves numbers around to mark the price up. I had found one this month for $500 less but not the color I wanted and a wet 250 mile ride home. Also didn't want warm weather to come around and have it snatched up, then have to wait for more inventory.

MSRP: $18,599 ($18,099 after $500 markdown)
Commodity charge: $400 ($0 after agreeing to waive)
Freight/Destination: $995
Documentation: $299
Registration/Title: $50
Tax: $1,505.36 ($1,305.46 state/$44 local/$36.20 business/$119.70 other sales tax) - Nashville
______________
OTD: $20,948.36

I had no idea last year when I bought mine that it was going to become so much BS just to get a hold of a new Hayabusa. I feel for you guys.

Not the mention the impact of the pandemic on global freight, chip production, vehicle availability, all of the global dynamics that are involved.

Alright, guys here's what I concluded:
Skip to the conclusion if you don't wanna read everything.
Cheapest I have received is 18600 OTD (tax+ttl inclusive)
All dealers have a union or something if I am not wrong. If one is quoting lower price others start questioning and make him raise the price (by adding BS setup fees, freight fee, etc). When I started looking for an even better price from other dealers they were surprised with the 18600 number. Then they started asking for the dealer's official quote because they wanted to get their contact details. Some tried to fool me by saying that the calculations are wrong, tax is wrong, and that the quote has mistakes. I have got Masters in Engineering btw. Complete BS attempts to lure me to buy from their dealership. None worked on me. I feel sad for the people who are paying 20k+ OTD.

Conclusion: So it is not just pandemic, war, supply chain issues but it is the systematic monopoly of the seller's market. Be smart. You can send price details to ask them to beat the offer but never send an original quote copy exposing the dealer's name and contact details. Buying a vehicle in this country is... well I can't use bad words here. Period.

… Cheapest I have received is 18600 OTD (tax+ttl inclusive) …
So are you going to pull the trigger? I hope they honor that price till the end of the deal. I feel like if the other prices were within a few hundred dollars it would make sense. At over $1000 difference, I feel like there could be something suspicious and they left something out.

I have put my 2022 for sale in Washington state for $17K, only 3600 miles on it. Please spread the word if you know someone. I'm covering the shipping cost to ship out of state

That sounds like a state monopoly dealer network. What state are you in?

Well, in Europe it looks very different than in the States. At least as far as the Hayabusa is concerned. If you look at the German market, nobody wants the Bike here. There are some dealers who have set the part at the original price. They won't sell them for centuries. It is impossible for dealers to sell a Busa for more than 15,000 euros. Without a massive price reduction, things will stand around for ages. Every Dealer is grateful for everyone who wants a Hayabusa.

Well currently it is also due to the energy prices, the Busa is not exactly economical when it comes to petrol. And since we have to pay 2.50 euros for a liter, which would be 8 dollars a gallon for you, people keep their hands off the big bikes. BUT with all other companies and models it is currently a disaster. You can only take what is there, and at full price, used bikes are sometimes sold for more than the new price. New deliveries do not come, you can be put on a waiting list. The prices are fixed, no additional services and maybe you won't get a motorbike this year, even if you pay a deposit.

Only Suzuki is absolutely unpopular with us at the moment, you get every model in abundance, except for the current GSX-1000GT, which is coming in May, all available models are gone, maybe again in September. Crazy times and the dealers as arrogant and megalomaniac as never before....

Ventura Co. California, a week ago. This was listed as $16900 online, with a mondo adm mark up not mentioned until in person.
