I’m kind of worried about getting this arm and going GP shift and getting confused when I switch from the busa to the concours or DR650

You will be fine. I ride other bikes that are not GP. Think of one car is manual, and other is auto transmission. You can drive either

The gp shifting is pretty straight forward (I had it on my gen 1 and loved it) for the most part on my gen 2. The only thing I haven't found yet is the kick stand switch (kills the bike if you put it in gear with the kick stand down) on how to delete that. I watched the video above and that switch isn't there. Any advice?

The kickstand switch can be looped and eliminated.
Cut it on the kickstand side of the plug and solder the two wires together(don't cut the main harness).
All the kickstand switch does is break the connection.

Yes
No resistor, it is a simple switch that just breaks the circuit.

The Tip over sensor is worth keeping though, it is a good safety, with no real reason to eliminate it, vs the kickstand switch, which can imtermittenly disconnect from vibrations and a weak kickstand spring.

I got a kill switch tether in case it goes down, I’m just trying to get stuff out the way. I’ve been working on a racebike for so long that when I started working on this streetbike, all these extra parts were in my way haha
