How to make a gen 2 the best bike you ever owned

Well, now that the dyno is finally up and running we were able to sort through the pump gas side of this build. Here is our result at 18 pounds of boost on pump . . .

HOLY CRAP!!!! Money very well spent. whats the durability and reliability with that kind of power? Is it still going to be reliable enough to take on a few 1000+ mile trips or is it just mainly a track bike now?

wat was the air temp in there Frank?

That's what my bike will do at any temp. From NY, to NV. That's it's real HP numbers on the hottest day to the coldest

It's still my every day rider. Weekend track bike when I want it. It will spend most of its time on the street. This bike was built to be a street bike and track bike. I live in WI And the bike will have no problems going cross country. And that's exactly what I wanted

Run conditions were 75 degrees, 29.9 in-Hg, 7% humidity . . .

The beauty of a turbo-based performance build as opposed to other forms of power adders is durability and reliability. Pitbull will be able to go back and forth to work, long rides, and even those occasional rides to the drag strip or church . . . I personally already have well over 10,000 miles on my own big hp turbo sport touring Busa . . .

really? ANY temp? um no it wont. none of them do. increased density of cooler air allows you to burn more fuel. atmospheric pressure also plays a role. im starting to think uve bitten off more then u can chew here.

Well you can think what you want. I don't mean to upset you with my numbers. Maybe I'll be as cool as you. Guess because I don't have a super ultra you can talk all the crap you want. So I'll lose maybe at most 10 HP.

upset me with ur numbers???? what makes you think anyone would be upset with horsepower numbers? were all hoping to see as much HP as possible. me especailly since Frank tunes my bike as well.

it was a simple question as to what the air temps were in the dyno room and for whatever reason you got ur panties in a knot.??? its a pretty common question ppl ask. I wasnt asking you I was asking Frank. you know, the guy who is actually tunes the bike....

As long as the motor was built correctly with the supporting modifications and the turbo system is reputable and installed correctly then it will live and last a long time given the amount of boost you throw at it and how hard you run it. This bike has a nice turbo kit and from what I hear a reputable shop that works well with the manufacturer of the turbo kit so I would expect the tune and installation to be top notch. As far as maintenance goes it will be general stuff "keeping an eye on the chain and sprockets, tightening header bolts and up pipe clamps, oil changes ect". Anybody that tells you they are like a stock bike as far as maintenance goes is full of ****....while they can be made extremely reliable there will be some extra attention that will need to be given. I'm not one for taking 1000+ mile road trips on a busa but given a level of education on the build I'm sure some owners could pull it off as they bike should be completely reliable. Given a cross country trip I believe the bike would run pretty spot on unless you experienced some huge swings in elevation or temperature which will definitely alter the hp and performance. Not speaking for this shop or this bike but a turbo kit of this range with a top notch motor and tranny build with electronics and tune should easily set you in the 20-25k range and that's if you own the bike. All the extra items like swingarms, pegs, gauges ect....all add up. Generally if you went out and bought a bike and sent it off your looking at 40K by the time it down with some custom touches.

your spot on.. and yes no stone was unturned with PowerHouse. He stands behind his builds 100%. same with RCC. the bike will and is turn key. but yes just for my own safety ill check the chain and sprockets before every ride. and every oil change go over all the clamps.. I wont ever get into pricing on this build..
Thank you for your input on things to check on..
P.S. PowerHouse did tell me even if its years from now he will always be there for me and any of his customers. if I have any questions or problems.. just cuz a build is done ( mine isnt) he still is there for you. not many shops ive delt with are like that like once its gone so are you Frank is NOT like that..
THANK YOU FRANK AND POWERHOUSE, RCC TURBO'S. I cant express how awesome yall are and what people you all are. top notch shops!!!

I'm sure you will really enjoy the bike given that it has been built well and with quality parts. I don't mind you not going into pricing....I just through out some budget figures for people that keep asking as there are a ton of this level of RCC turbo hayabusa's that have been built and the pricing is pretty flat line across the board unless you get into standalones or some crazy engine work that would really be overkill considering these bikes can make 300-400 more hp above and beyond what you can use on the street. Looking forward to your first impression after you ride it.

Indeed, bring on the first impression. It's sure going to be one hell of an experience. We all want to know how it feels to have .... lets say 600+ HP between your legs and the feeling you get from letting it loose ...ummm... maybe not completely loose since its a mission to handle anything over 330HP on the street but at least the feeling of pure acceleration!

Without doubt you are now in the 600+ club ........go get 'em ........:cheerleader:

Thanks man. I'm counting down the days. It's going to be a while till I take it up past 18 lbs. I'm going to be taking it easy and learn the bike before I get to crazy with it.

Slam it, stretch it, strap it, Brocks exhaust, BMC filter, PCV, re-gear it, put an air shifter on it, lose the mirrors, lose thegrab rail, shot of N20 and put a Shinko on the back to get it all to the ground  Then it would be the perfect street bike
On second thought, since this is a turbo forum, scratch the Brocks exhaust and N2O and put a big nasty turbo on it....yes, that would do it!!!

Well u couldn't say it better!!! That's perfect!!!
