How to make a gen 2 the best bike you ever owned

The tune up in this particular multistage would allow him to throw the clutch lever away at 7500 rpm - with the LIGHT MTC springs. Using the medium springs, you have to be a little more careful because the clutch itself will not slip as much. Launching at a higher rpm and "feeding" the clutch lever out - as opposed to throwing it away - is one trick some of the drag guys use . . .

maybe my RPM is to low when I go.. I dont slip it long.. maybe harder on the throttle? I dont want to be hard on boost when it locks up.. I can feel it lock up

just got off the phone with Frank.. Thanks for the Advise.. Im gonna get back out later today..

Heres 1 of the Crappy videos.. Please keep negative comments to your self.. Im only posting for help and tips to improve..

I have seen and done worse then that  I think you just need more practice and with how much power that bike makes I would be taking it just as slow as you are.

looks good to me will beat most at track once that boost kicks in anyway just be careful launching it w a 4inch arm..... nice video...

Frank you have any extra light springs in stock?

1st off go to the track with somebody who knows what there doing.... (2 i wouldnt even do a burn out (3. at the light if u hve someone in other lane at line dont get antsy to win and do something out of order bc its easy to get hurt that way imo....(4 hve fun......

lookn good. I think ur underestimating how you wud do at the track. like goldenchild stated it doesnt have to be a brutal launch to 60 foot well. in fact, ive seen far better passes over the years with a smooth transition out of the hole where ur not spinning or lifting then brutal launches where one spins the tire.

I see it especially with turbo cars. turbo power is very linear or atleast thats what im hoping for with my gt40r.

my buddy has a 6 second twin turbo mustang and if you ever seen him launch you wud swear his car is a turd but its butter smooth with no tire shake which will cause the tire to over-hook and it wants to run over itself essentially and now isnt round and therefore shakes. bikes arent cars but spinning aint winning.

at 18 lbs of boost WOT u shud beable to pull off an 8 second pass easily right now today. you rarely lose traction out the back unless ur makn brutal power. its the first 330 that really matters imo.

go to the track. I guarentee you u will surprise urself and that will giv u confidence to go even faster and launch with a little more rpm. u shud try launching at like 6000 rpm and see how you do then go up to like 7500.

frank has that BC dialed in nice. the tune makes a world of difference. im telln you I am 335 hp at 18 lbs at only +3 over and I hammer it on the street and never come up. its a beautiful thing and frank was a big part of how smooth I make power with my bike.

frank really is in a league all by himself and a REAL true hardcore drag racer at one time so he talks the talk and walks the walk.

thats on da street..... the track w good prep is different..... try 500 rpms at a time w no burn- out 1st, then when u get comfortable try a burn -out but go back down on rpms bc bike will respond diff w a hot tire....... u soon will be running prostreet if u keep going to the track lmao!!!!

he doesnt have a super sticky tire. its a street tire so its not gonna bite like other tires will at the track. but ur right 500 rpm at a time is good advice.
