How bad could he possibly get hurt? Little road rash? Big deal. Kid is going at skate board speeds.

Don't you guys know how deceptively Easy skitching is? Yeah, I'm hatin on a 4 year old! Seriously, that is cool for a little kid. Guess what happens if he falls? He gets BICYCLE speed roadrash! None of you gear nazis apparently crashed your bicycle as a kid... or got tuffened up from it either! Maybe you should have. No suga that's dangerous Have you seen how many girly men are out there? I wonder if they yell so loudly about the little kids doing motocross.. Something I personally think is much more dangerous.

No kidding! I used to race 250 B class, I walked away while I still could in the late nineties. Even back then(the pre back flip days!) the younger of the 2 80cc classes 7 to 11 yr olds where jumping a good 6 to 8 ft further off the big triples than us!
I love MX, and even though it's rare, one false move and you're dead or crippled...and you're gear can only do so much. It would be hard watching my kid do that, especially the better they got(the higher the risk).
