Last two summer vacations were to the Grand Canyon. Absolutely love the Sadona area. Would love to ride it on bike some day.

Very nice !! I rode in Arizona a few years ago it was some very nice roads and senery.

(Copperone @ Oct. 29 2006,18:09) This is a very scenic area.  The first 22 23 miles are paved and then hwy 88 turns into dirt.  Hwy 88 runs all the way to Roosevelt lake.  About half of the road is dirt.  But...  if you're into boating, fishing and the lakes, there are three lakes alont the route: Canyon, Apache and Roosevelt Dam.  This whole area is one of my favorite places in Arisona.
