I hear you on that one. The problem I have with my current boss is that they want too much from me. Im the head estimator a project manager the logistics manager the storage yard manager the fleet manager and the safety officer. On top of that my bosses give me large sections of their work to do every day. I run the day to day operations 40% of the time. I had my pay cut 10% 3 years ago and it was only supposed to be for 6 months but I never got it back. The final straw for me was they bought out a local fabrication shop and told.me my hours would increase from 48 hours a week to 60 plus I would need to take another pay cut so they could raise the 70k they needed for the down payment. In the same breath he told me to go look at his brand new barley in the parking lot. The new company only wants me to help with estimating and to be a project manager only 40 hours a week. So I guess im taking a lower stress job AND more pay. My boss offered to give me my 10% cut in pay back and pay my medical to keep me which is not even close to what I will be making in houston.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys. I have upgrades planned for the busa once im settled in and have moved my family out. They need to stay behind for 2 months which has got me really bummed out. I want an exhaust corbin seats ecu flash and to have my suspension set up.

Yes they are. He's paying for the uhaul/car hauler ($1500) and giving me $1000.00 for the fuel and hotel. Plus he's reimbursing me for the money I spent in airfare last week coming out for my interview.

Yeah my boss is trying to get me to stay saying they want me to run this place one day but they can't afford to pay me what I need to better my life for my family. If it was just me I would stay. Im giving them 6 weeks so I can train 3 new people. Yes, they are hiring 3 people to replace me. Well only hiring 2, one of our field superintendents is being promoted to project manager bit it is still 3 people that they need to get to replace me.

I owe them that much. When I spent 6 months in the hospital and rehab after my wreck in 07' they were there for me every step of the way. That is why I have let them use and abuse me for so long. I now feel that debit is repaid and I can move on guilt free. My last parting gift is training people. I want to keep these guys as friends so im leaving on good terms.

Hell yeah im ready! You got any updates on the number of people coming. I know you said 10 bikes bit how many are 2 up. I have us set up for 15 people right now. 5 of them are just me and my family.
