So, all I am alluding to is some undeniable facts, as one has to look at this from both sides.
Besides what Trump is alluding to, US banking is allowed in Canada, but there are specific requirements, exactly the same as communist China in terms of running a business. For a US bank to operate in Canada, they must have a Canadian equity partner, allowing Canadian ownership. The US do not have similar restrictions. Not fair.

Personal experience:
For a vendor of specialized equipment, sending a tech into Canada to do service or repair work, the only way we could do it, was to be dishonest. If the tech had to state reason for entry to do work on equipment in a factory, the person would not be granted access. Perhaps things have changed today, but that was my experience? We had to pick the tech's going there very carefully, some would refuse to enter on false pretences. Eventually, at enormous costs, we had to train Canadians and keep them on a retainer. Those restrictions to Canadians coming here do not exist.
