I don’t think I can wait any longer.

hello all
So I ended up having the chance to sell my bike and now I have no bike. I don’t think I can go without a bike and wait for the gen 3 to come out. What’s comparable to the gen 2 or gen 3 hayabsua ? Had a gen 2 don’t want another one.
Thank you
I will wait till it comes no matter how long!

both websites shows $18599
I guess it all boils down to how badly you want a gen 3...or a motorcycle in general...

if a gen 3 is the pinnacle of your desires, there will be one out there in time....not every single copy of it is pre-sold, there will be bikes at dealerships you can buy...of course that could be as late as July but if you can hold out you'll get one.

If you have to have a bike and are considering a ZX14R then they are everywhere and readily available as new bikes.

ya but i want the new Hayabusa. another thing concerned about is if they will even have Heli bars for the hayabusa and lower pegs for better more comfortable ride

....then you've answered your own question....you will have to wait but there will be copies to be bought at the dealerships....

Until someone gets one and investigates this, perhaps the current Helibars and lowered pegs available for the other generations will fit this bike as well (I can't see them changing the bar diameter or peg attachments that much).

if I were you, I'd ride one first before worrying about Helibars and pegs...perhaps the riding position will be a bit better??

The dealers around here will slap a premium buyer's fee guaranteed on all the non-pre orders and all toys that are in short supply. The first words are we only have one left and we don't know when another one is coming to the dealership, next words, want to give a deposit? Hey, what's this fee for? Well, that's for our greedy azz funk fund.

Gen 2 pegs should work but might be angled a bit and hit exhaust pipe only time will tell and take the seat to upholstery guy they can insert gel pad for under 100...

Sad but true...

However, there will be bikes at dealerships to buy, not all of them have been pre-ordered.

It will boil down to just how much someone is willing to pay.

Around here things like boats, PWC, side by sides or ATVs are at a premium, there are short supplies and zero dickering, you pay what's on the sticker or leave it...

It is definitely not a good time to be buying things....

its insane the way the market is.. If i can find a cheaper OTD that will be awsome but if its to far having it transport at the end of that might just be the same OTD locally

The other day someone mentioned a bidding war over a Polaris side by side, it eventually sold for over the sticker price by a decent margin...and no extra goodies at all...

And someone else said a local boat shop has 3 boats left for the season....and stories like this goes on and on..

It's crazy haven't seen anything like it real-estate is just bonkers here in Orlando I just sold a home for 30k over asking price cash deal straight up bidding war and was on the market for 3 hours... and it trickles down to everything I think alot of people must have killed it in the stock market or scammed the government because it can't just be the interest rates lol can't even find any fixer uppers anymore smh

I think real estate has gone crazy all over the place....many homes here don't even get listed and they have bidding wars...one place not too far away sold for something like $200k over list price...

While you are waiting... and while you are bike less... if you can spend 5 k go out and find a 1400 Concours. Its the best value I have found in my 50 years of riding about 15 different motorcycles. I started with a 750 Honda in 1971... thru two Gen 1 Hayabusas starting in 2008. I bought the 1400 for commuting over a year ago ( 10,000 miles so far ) here in Socal because the traffic is ridiculous and lane splitting is legal. Its comfortable and pretty nimble... and its a low to mid 11 second ride and 650 hp Camaros fear me!! LOL !

If you think you don't want one see if you can find one to spend about a half hour on... they really are smooth and easy to handle.
