well removing the cable takes like 1 sec. and another 2 sec. to put a piece of tape over the holes that the male half of the mechanism goes in to prevent latching as a reminder.

I might be next, and have made good mental notes of your method. Very nice! I have a solenoid hooked in there for remote pops (in case of disaster)....don't ask where the button is....:mwink:


BTW, tape over what holes?

the female holes of the latch. You wont be able to latch the hump or seat down without removing tape. It's just a reminder
