I got the call today

I've been looking for work for 2 months now and today I got the call I've been looking for. I have to fly upto NY on Friday and take a preemployment placement test and if all goes good then I have to go back on Monday for the one on one interview. If I get the job I will be moving upto Boston.

I think this is a good thing. After all when I worked for Delta I could have moved up there but could never bring myself to put in for the position.

But hey what can you do? On a good note they are the 2nd highest paying airline for mechanics. If this doesn't work out I still have a resume with Continental airlines for a maintenance job in Houstion. Talking about two different worlds. We'll see what happens.

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to the possibilities of this job. It will get me closer to Maine where I really want to be and they are starting to fly out of Portland so who knows maybe in the future they will put maintenance up there. If the whole Boston thing doesn't pan out then I can always transfer to another station.
