dumb arse,,when i first started riding ,,i wore my lid all the time and for some reason i decided to go down to the store one day without it on ,i thought it would be ok ,,yeah right,and you know the one time i didn't wear it i 12' 0 clocked my 00 R6 by accident and almost looped it because if an a**hole that almost rear ended me,,i took off real quick and the bike was out of gas,,she leaned out and came strait up on me,,the poor high mount M4 got some light scrapes,,slamed on the rear brake slamed her down with the bars turned ,got into a short tank slapper,,pulled out of that kept going ,,pulled into the gas station got off the bike and about kicked the damn thing,,set there for a bit to regain my composure put in a full tank of gas,,then drove carfully back home and got my lid,,now i never ride without lid,jacket ,gloves and pants,,i felt like a real squid
