i just did the unevitable...

Yeah, I was reading, thinking I can't believe he dropped his bike in the garage

sigh that would take me a day or two to calm down before posting what stupid thing i did haha. id prolly cry. a man cry, but cry none the less.

dropped my srad in a parking lot one day when my foot slipped on gravel. i picked it up waited for floats to empty than rode off like nothing happened. now if i dropped my busa i honestly dont know what i would do. at this point in my life its my pride and joy as far as toys go. had to sell everything else off.

on a brighter side, i always liked the 06 white le (love it actually). it was between midnight black or the white when i first went looking for a busa. well got the black now, maybe i should just spray the whole dam thing white now. haha:rofl:

I know how you feel that would make me sick. I pulled my new tank bag off the other day instead of carefully lifting the magnets. Put a nice scratch on the tank luckily most of it buffed out.
I have set my hump on the seat before while getting my gloves out and have thought to my sell you shouldn't do that. Guess I'll be safe from now on and set it on the ground.

I always set mine on the ground because i don't wanna drop it. Get side tracked and put it on the seat and down it goes. Lesson learned and hopefully no more accidents

I feel your pain, I haven't dropped mine....yet :please:..... but I did put a real nice scratch in it when I wasn't paying attention and the screw of the my toe slider put a nice scratch in the hump when I threw my leg over.

without thinking I wore a backpack with a rigid plastic bottom with my hump on...Didn't even give it a second thought.........eeerrrgggggg. I feel your pain

If you haven't already, frame sliders would be a good investment. Good protection for little mishaps such as these. Happens to us all.

If you wanted to keep you bike sportless why did you get a Busa?! Just messing with ya man!:beerchug: If it makes you feel any better, mine came off at about 75mph when I forgot to secure it before leaving a restaurant on a weekend ride!:banghead: Needless to say it was pretty banged up but suprisingly didn't crack, had to get it sanded and painted.

See that, perfect reason for you to get yours painted.. maybe with a nice custom touch.

How deep are the scratches, try smart pen or fix it pro, hope I don't ever need to use it, but it might just work for you. Different reviews as usual some people say they are rubbish some say they are good. Any way good luck.

:spank:
OUCH! Expensive lesson.
This is why mine is always on a flat safe surface safe when not on the bike. I would die if it were to slide off my seat.
Sorry.

That makes me feel a little better. Haha sorry to hear that. Did it color match good?
