STUPID. ME. I was coming off a lite going about 30 and clutched it(like I used to do onthe OEM tire) expecting tire spin. Well I'm an idiot, the M/T hooked and I damn near lost it, scuffed the CRAP out of my boots keeping her upright---that SUCKED!!!
Verti-busa is NOT fukkin funny. I'm still shaking, gonna get a Bud/Crown sonething...geezus.

I think you need some more RPM's before you release that clutch next time. Not too many tires are gonna hold back those ponies.

Who says VERTA-BUSA is no good. Thats the only way to fly.

Also, we warned that running a M/T on the street isn't advisable, they tend to self destruct at sustained high speed.

pooh, that's the msr2 shootout tire, I bought the msr1(last years) specifically because of that.

I put a spike threw my rear, and they told me that there are only TWO tires made to replace it. One Mich, and a Bridge. WTF? There said anything else i stick on will wallble. Need to be SUPER SPEED RATED. Say it isnt so!

'tlantabusa, I drove my cage through Atlanta two weekends ago. Got caught in horrible Interstate stop and go traffic. I don't see how you can stand riding a Busa in that, I've got to admire your patience and pain-tolerance.
What with the Busa's sport riding postion, power, and icky offline abruptness, I just couldn't deal with living on one in that big city traffic.
I think a Harley would be perfect for it... lounge chair seating, great from still at stop lights to 35 mph with only 2 or 3 gear changes and enough mass to take up the whole lane.

You must know some secret quick routes out of town, to stay sane.

Richard, I live 40 miles north of town and ride here and north of here. Lanta SUX for bikes. Rob, turbo not expected till December(bummer) guess it'll have to be whenever your track(s) open---when's that?

More like wheelie bars. I cant wait for my swingarm.
I think maybe I need to trailer her up to MIR and show someone something...we'll see where the joke is..before I put the turbo on.

The tracks around here have been open since March. Loser buys crab cakes & beer!! Bring it on. It's a long way to drive to get a whuppin!!! :)

Rob, come on man, you know capital SUCKS, its just so damn convienient! MIR with its new pavement is awesome- i didn't spin once today, but wheelied like crazy. hopefully capital will be on the ball next sunday for their all-bike meet. Rumor has it that Cecil county will be running on wednesdays...sweet!

Good to talk to a local, DaddyLongStroke. I didn't know next Sunday was Capitol's bike day. I'm going!

I started to head down to MIR yesterday but the clouds looked threatening so halfway there I turned around and just got caught in the downpour as I got home. Didn't it rain down there? I haven't been to MIR in a couple of years and I didn't know they repaved it.

Let me know what year busa you ride and I'll look for you at Capitol. Also, pray for sun!
