I just watched as they loaded my bike for Germany

Ok... I have not been around for awhile because I was sick to my stomach when I heard the word Hayabusa...just thinking what bad things are going on with mine on it's voyage here. Today they delivered it to my house, my heart was pounding as they took it out of the crate... and I am here to say NO damage!!! I have to hook up the battery in the morning and fire her up, but I am sure that will be no problem. Boy am I a lucky man; now I need to get her to pass inspection and get a ride or two in before it's too cold.... See you guys around org:thumbsup:

i was going to ask if she made it over there alright. pics of you on the autobahn or it didn't happen...

Having previously worked in the shipping industry, I can tell you that you should at least have some piece of mind from the fact that your bikes has been crated. - We used to thrash the hell out of any vehicle that we could get at.
"Let's see how fast this new Porsche can go, eh?" VROOOOOOOOM!!!

Wow that put him at??? peace at mind.

My friend once worked on a exotic car transportation cargo and told me they blast AC, music and what not in those cars. Though they arent supposed to, but most crews do that anyway. For ground shipping it's not surprising that they ride those vehicles like rentals.
But it's really a good news that your bike got shipped without a single scratch. Enjoy autobahn man. Post some pics soon. :)

I went through the same thing in 2008 when I headed to Baumholder. I second on the test. Make sure you study, the book is online. The driving test was a breeze though. Also if your MSF card is over 3 years old you will not get licensed in Germany, trust me mine was 3 yrs and 5 months so I had to wait until I was on R&R to take the course again. Take care and enjoy the autobahn, I know I did.
