Nice picture.
My wife rides, got her license last year summer. She mostly always rides with me along, but a few trips on her own. She rode it to work one day. People who do not ride don't really understand. A few guy's at her work ride, most all other do not and think she is a bit of a rebel
She rides very safe, but yea, it does bother me a lot when she (and my son) ride on their own. Sometimes I wonder if I did the right thing getting them involed in the sport. Although they got involved on their own, I did not push in anyway, I actually tried to stop them a bit just to make sure it was their idea.
I know they ride safe, it is that other idiot not paying attention that worries me.
Anyway FGB, enjoy the ride, and I do agree, there is nothing more sexy that a chick on a bike, especially a sports bike.
Grrr, yeah never mind...I like having the wife in a cage. Pam and I have talked about it and it could work if she only rode with me for fun...that may not be too bad...but yeah I'd be a nervous wreck...
I'm with you Revlis. My wife wanted to learn how to ride but it just makes me nervous. I am a little hesitant to even put her on the back. When she is on the back I ride very cautiously and out of the traffic. It would just kill me if something happened to her. It would be another story if she could ride before we met... I love to see a girl on a bike. But I could not live with myself if I get her into the sport and some idiot pulls out in front of her.

Yeah I hear you...My poor wife has gotten about 2 rides since I got the bike in April...
It's just that I really cannot have any fun with her back there, I am just too worried about it at every intersection, sharp corner etc... I just do not care for it.
Besides we commute to work together, we cook together, we share a bed, a couch, an office at home, the shower, the pot, hell, she wears my boxers when I am not looking... So darnit, this is my get the heck out of the house and let the wife and I have some alone time. Don't really want her tagging along all the time either as a wing-wench, or as a passanger...
Rev...it's only wrong if she doesn't get the same down time...out of the house...
Wing Wench? Hrmmm...that's a new one...
And everything you just said is why I love riding alone...I know it's not as safe as a group, but it's time to unwind and only worry about riding and getting back safe...certainly relaxing if everything goes right...
if she gets a busa, she will probably be faster (less wieght) but at least buy a suzuki.. damn hondas.. but they do say u meet the nicest people on a honda
You lucky son of a gun, you!!! A cutie that rides... The girl I'm talkin' to right now "don't know about those motorcycles". ( Where is that damn rolleyes emoticon when ya need it? )
Also, it sounds as if there are a few hypocrits among us... Don't mind puttin' thur chick in the position of havin' to worry but won't allow thur chick to put them in the same position. What the fug is up with that? I mean, it's natural to worry, but to keep 'em from doin' it just plain sucks! If it's fair for her to worry about yer sorry butts while you're out ridin' and cuttin' up then it should be fine for you to get to worry while she is out ridin' and cuttin' up.
And men biotch about women tryin' to make 'em get rid of the bike after gettin' married... Geeesh!
