anyone know where i can get my battery replaced in my Seiko 200m dive watch, without having to send it to Texas to the Sieko repair shop??? nobody around here can do it....

Very nice Rune... I haven't bought a new watch in awhile... I bought that Citizen I'd been looking at the 9000 I think it is. I'm very pleased with the quality and accuracy. I also picked up an Invicta Lupah Dragon just out of curiosity. Pleasantly surprised here as well, no it's not worth the $1100 retail or whatever you see them at sometimes, but for $170 or so it's a great watch, HUGE but good and entertaining.

The Invicta get's lots of attention.

The Citizen just works really well and never needing a battery is cool, as is never having to set the date or time.

Here's another shot of the Invicta... I dunno why I have a coupl eof 226 mags with it... This is what happens when I am unsupervised with a new camera at work..

And another of the Citizen. It's a brand that I'd recommend to anyone looking for a relatively inexpensive trouble free watch. I think we were talking about em' awhile back as well...

Congrats again Rune... Didn't mean to jack your thread... Watches look cool though.

not to completely jack the thread but ... um.. me thinks somethin is amiss with run8's pictures in the first few pages. Is this a board issue or sumthin else, cuz the text really has nothing to do with the pix

I have a Invicta Men's Russian Diver Quinotaur. Rose Gold, sapphire crystal, 17 jewel swiss mechanical movement, skeleton dial. It's a very nice watch. Only worn twice. I paid $900 for it a couple years ago. I will sell it for $500 shipped.

Send it off. Well worth it. Trust me.

I had a authorized dealer replace a battery. Shoved the wrong size battery in it, handed it back to me and said "I know nothing about this chrono. You set it."

Watch had to be sent off to Seiko, cost me $90.00. Movement bent etc.

He did nothing but I let Seiko know.

This is everybody's thread. I love them all and it's great to see how tastes differ in them.

I'm hooked on Chrono's.
