I need a new chain!

so do stock chains normally go bad quick on boosted bikes?
I ask because my chain has 4000 miles stock 2000 miles boosted and the pitch is 12.75 already.
I assume it's time to get a new and better chain but just wanted to make sure.

The stock chain is not anything to brag about. Service length it 12.57" for 20 links so you are way over due. I would change it as soon as possible. A chain failure could be costly in both case damage and bodily damage.
