Just chiming in. When I first started riding, I was the same about riding in the rain. I think overtime, I've come to realize that gravel, rocks and leaves far worse than plain old rain. I used to have a Harley bobber and got stuck in a huge storm on that mess on the way back from a bike event in Gettysburg, PA. Given it was a bobber, it didn't have a front fender and the rear fender was chopped to about a quarter size of the rear tire, so visibility was a b***h (any bobber/chopper rider knows exactly what I am talking about..the things we do to look cool :duh. All I gotta say is with the right gear (and right bike) make all the difference in the rain to the point of even making it enjoyable.
