If I replace the speedo?

Does anyone really believe an odometer now anyway? You can get a speed healer, set it to max retard and clock 2/3 the mileage. Or you can just unplug the thing and not worry about it. I know people who buy a bike and unplug the speed sensor and ride it for a season, plug it back in and sell the bike. Personally I use the Odo for maintenance and tire changes and I don't intend to sell the bike so I try to keep it accurate when I make gearing changes and run 55 profile tires. If I were buying used, the odo would be a secondary confirmation of what I see as far as the bike's condition at best.
