no, remove the instrument cluster, work the sockets out by pulling in them. change the bulbs and push them back in until they bottom out.

Got mine from Auto Zone for $11. Matches the HID nicely.

Side Note: I wouldn't install an HID for a high beam. Sometimes you need that "INSTANT ON" to flash someone or see a dark curve ahead. I left the stock buld but I may change it to a yellow hi beam.

Right on. I just ordered two sets from ebay - 2 T10 LED White Park Position Light Wedge Bulb 168 194. I bought two sets for $5.36. Wanted a backup set. A USA seller.
I just installed my low beam HID and this mod will fix those dull running lights. Thanks....
