If you plan on drinking at dinner friday night...

For those of you not aware of where the restaurant is, the route back is mostly main road riding.
The point was that the preceding ride is a 140 miles of technical roads that will take almost 5 hours of ride time if you do not stop..

5 hours of straight highway riding would be a long day for most and now you add the technical side of the ride.. Rider fatigue is going to be an issue..

My point is that you add food, fatigue and another 90 minutes of twisting roads (and main roads or not, this is not a straight shot home, it is twisty) and you have a combination that riders should be aware of...

Adding booze? well that does not take much brains... This is not about "other options on the table" heck McDonalds is an option too...

It is about rider awareness and safety.. period..

I'm certainly not arguing that. I'm just making those who have never been aware of the shorter ride back so that they can make their own decisions. I also posted in the other thread that I was going to move the reservations up an hour. If you read the post that Dennis put up, you'll see that he is making this ride with plenty of stops for those that want to rest. I want everyone to be as safe as can be.

If they are smart, they'll wait until they get back to the Phillips or wherever it is that they are staying to do the drinking. As a matter of fact, I think I'll just make it known right now.....if you plan on drinking at the restaurant then just don't come. I don't want anyone putting the rest of us OR yourselves in danger. I have an 11 year old I plan on coming home to.
