Illinois/iowa ride 3

(300Busa @ Sep. 07 2006,00:08) all of the pics I have are before some guys got there.  Big Diesel ran out of gas on the way there, so some guys went to help him.
I dont know what you are talking about....I stopped to look at the scenery for awhile, thats all. Chris (mrninja9) was so excited to see me he ran out to meet me on the freeway when I called and said I was on my way...and he happened to bring some extra gas cuz he knows how blazin fast I am, and I go thru alot of gas when Im traveling at 180mph from Milw. to Utica...took me a whole 25minutes to get there...and I was lost for 5.

Sorry I already had the rain cover on my tank bag. I couldn't get the camera out in time. I know Doyle got the shot. Hopefully he will be posting it soon. I would like to see it also.

here's the highlight pic of the ride-
me doin a burnout on the patio at a Harley Bar we stopped at for "refueling"

had to show'em what real horsepower smells like!

Looks like you guys had a good turnout, wish I could have made it up.

You should have signed your burnout for them. A Hayabusa burnout at a Harley bar. That mark will be there for a long time.

aigt-now when r all the guys coming up to Milwaukee? there's this resturant really close by that has a huge bike parking area and great food...and there's over 50 miles of nice scenic roads n twisty stuff just 15 miles away on the feeway....

if I do another meet, it has to be by mid-Oct. Im sendin all my plastics n tank to SmokinGunz for paint...I can hold off a week or two if we're meeting up again soon...otherwise I'll have to come say hi in my truck!

Dont you mean the good food? I think it was........Silk. Yeah thats it! LOL

That would be cool with me. I may not be on my Busa also as im looking at a GSXR750 today and if I buy it I will want to get some miles on it because I have my last track day coming up in October. Will I still be accepted on the smaller brother haha.

any 2-wheel transportation is kewl, man! and uh, yeah-that "restaurant" with the view is called Silk...named for the tasty selection of ah, 'pies' that they carry

If everyone else is down, why dont we plan something in Milwaukee for Sept. 30th/Oct.1st?? How does that sound to everyone else? either day will be good for me...just gotta see if the weather cooperates...any suggestions for a back-up rainday? Weekends are always pretty open for me, so any sat/sun I can pretty much accomodate.

Once we decide on a date, I can find out uh, how 'good' the view will be and try to make sure there's lots of ummmm, fresh pies to sample ;)

Im thinkn we should meet up 'round noon near my place...there's freeway access 2min from my door. Once everyone is there, we can head out to Holy Hill for some great back-road ridin. After that, we'll all have a great big appetite so we can hit the city-renowned restaurant Silk for some good eats, and better deserts!

How's that sound, fellas?

I'd love to... but that's about a 500 mile round trip for me. Don't think I could pull that right now. My ass would fall off. That's how you'd spot me... "Oh, that must be kanati. He has no ass."
