eh, if I gotta have a card that says I can own a gun I don't think I'd be happy about it, seems like the 2nd amendment is getting dirty there. I agree to security/background checks and I agree having to have a Concealed Carry Permit but it all sorta seems like the government and/or media are encroaching on personal freedoms/liberties having to have a card to own.
IF this information is available via the freedom of information act then its just a pretty crappy judgment call to print everyone's names and to be sure it had best be *everyone* if its anyone or the media storm will be even bigger. If this is new legislation that exposes previously "hidden" data, the legislative group/party should be shot for exposing people to possible issues. There are certain things people should be able to do legally but also privately. Would you want your prescription drug list or marital aid purchases
published as well?
