I'm getting sick of pulled over

You may have hit the nail on the head... "RED" - that's the main reason I opt'ed for the blue/silver. Besides being faster...

it doesn't "advertise",

PLEASSSSE TICKET ME!

On any given day, watch a busy road. The red bikes stand out like a sore thumb. I suggest just trading your Busa in, for one that's less obvious.

Radar detectors are legal in USA?
Maybe in a few states but not where I live. Radar Jamers are though. Get a radar detector and just be smart where you decide to speed. Don't hang out in the hammer lane doing 90+. Try and stay hidden behind other traffic. They have a real hard time picking up bikes on radar especially the Busa.

If you are serious then the answer is really quite simple...you are making poor choices about when and where you speed.

There is a time and place for this kind of thing, perhaps you live in the city and need to ride out of town to get to some back country roads. Either way though , if you live in the USA then you should not have to drive more then 50 miles to find some roads to open it up a little bit on.

Speeding on interstate freeways or any main artery road where traffic is moderate to heavy is not a good idea...cops go where there is business and where there are cars there is always some action for them.

most of my rideing is at night on 2 lane roads...cops in this part of pa do not set up radar at night and have no forward radar but it was funny comeing up on the station about 1/2 mile away at 12 at night i slowed down for my normal....coast ...past the station and just as i start to slow down a state boy going the other way...i saw him hit the brakes and then the reverse lights came on so i knew it was a state trooper...i coasted at 55 past the station then he continued to follow me for 3 miles after with his high beams on and i just sat up and cruised looking around ..he got the point...turned around...sad thing is i know most of the troopers...wonder wich one it was lol

First is slow down around town like Bentvalve said, next is when you own a bike you will get pulled over there are places in town where cops just pull you over no matter what. When I'm in those areas as soon as one pull in behind me I put my right turn signal on and pull over and stop, don't even give them a chance to figure out if I'm doing something wrong or not.

Good luck keep the bike, if your getting tickets too your insurance is going to kill ya!

Radar detectors are useless unless there's other traffic on the road... at least one other car.
yeah...umm   wrong.

get to know your local laws and stop buying radar untits under 200.00.

ANY decent unit can detect better than a mile away....save for the laser and you are not LOS.... if you can be slowed down outside the usual 1000ft "max" target range...then your detectors can and will save you thousands....as mine have done over the past 20 years.
He's wrong? Please educate us on how your expensive radar detector can pick up on a signal that isn't there until you drive past the cop and he pulls the trigger on his radar gun?

Keep in mind the OP said "unless there's other traffic on the road".

Do the new expensive detectors have some sort of new ESP technology built in that can read a cops mind?

Let's use real guns as an example and your ears are the gun detector:

You're driving down the road and hear a machine gun firing off constantly...you stop and go the other way.

You're driving down the road with other traffic and hear random gun shots going off ahead...you stop and go the other way.

You're driving down the road with NO other traffic...BANG ya heard it for a split second but it's too late, you're DEAD.

Unless there are other cars being pinged or the cop is lazy and has his radar gun on continuously, you're detector is 100% useless.
