gotta agree w/ HRHDI...Texas aint that bad w/ about a week o' winter, a few weeks o' spring & fall... the rest is monsoons and summer.

 you get used to it. Oklahoma has some great places/ cheap land...no front plate on cages, and really close to Texas

Maybe Oklahoma should consider this in their advertising campaign...

Yeah, but your property taxes and sales taxes are sky high! Never seen such a convoluted system. I have no doubt the residents pay into that till just like any other state!

+1 On Texas - depends on where - some humidity. Stay away from Houston - very humid.

New Mexico is doing well. Real estate hasn't been hit very hard, unemployment is not as high as the rest of the nation and there are very few bugs.

Plus, we have some GREAT riding out here.

I'd take you up on that offer if I had the scratch to test the waters. Unfortunately, I've only got the money for a one-way excursion. I've gotta decide on a place to go, work out what I can in advance, and go there.
