Indy Car in Vegas

It's a proven fact that a blind eye is turned to safety in the interest of the business. NASCAR did it until Dale Earnhardt was killed. NHRA did it until Scott Kalitta was killed. F1 did it until Ayrton Senna was killed.
My point is the owners and tracks are a business and all about the bottom line. Safety is only a concern at times like this. It's a shame it takes someone dying to get the owners and tracks to implement changes to protect the drivers!!!!!
The drivers have a job to do. They don't have to do it but if they don't someone else will. A certain risk is assumed and accepted.
I believe most of us in our own jobs have heard at one time or another "just do your job or we will find someone that will". What did you do??
