InfiniteReality's Gen3 Build

What can i say that others have not already said.
You should have done 2 of them and kept one in the living room.
Well done sir

Thanks! If I could get away with it, I probably would. Supposedly, or so I'm told, is that since I have a shop now I'm not allowed to bring the bike inside, so first thing I did was bring the old one in there.

Some decals added back, in matte matching vinyl. The Hayabusa has basically been moved from tail to side fairing, identical size.

Polish and ceramic tomorrow. Rained all day today and supposed to tomorrow, so hopefully Sunday may get to ride.

Have new kickstand, with some angle, to install. Clean chain again.

Just outstanding Del !. I see you found the sweet spot for the top of the fairing decal. That's where I'm headed.

The Suzuki designers are going to go d@mn we should've done that.

I personally think the Hayabusa kanji sets the bike off as something unique...it's the only bike that has such a thing on it these days...

It does look clean without it

What kind of setup do you have for printing decals?

I use a Silhouette Cameo, actually turns 10yrs old in a few days. Birthday present for my wife, best gift ever considering I've used it 99% of the time. Amazing durable, has been in my non HVAC shop in Louisiana for 8 of those and still rocking.

Polished and ceramic coated. Glad it's done, but won't be doing the Camaro anytime. Avalon King ceramic that I've had for almost 4yrs. was able to do the lighting as well since it's got clear coat.

Sanded the Yoshimura logo off the plate frame and wrapped in satin black. Added my logo in the same matte titanium vinyl.

New $50 adjustable kickstand. Clears the QS and equally important that it's easy to grab with you foot to put down and put up.

Decal for bottle to point out the obvious?

Now just to wait for the ceramic to cure. Hopefully get some sunshine tomorrow and I can pull it out to help speed it along.

I originally removed the decals to simply replace in the new vinyl color, but once they were removed I very quickly realized Adam was spot on. When you look at the bike on either side, you still see the same things... Just different order and sizes.

Down the road if I wanted to change it up, I have the kanji ready to cut.

Gen 3 White Busa is so sexy, like riding a big horse !

How much does it cost to fully mod the swing arm to get around extra 6" in length for better high speed handling?

When I first saw the green color you were using on the rims I thought to myself that won't look great...after seeing it on the bike, it works.....somehow it works....

You have definitely created a very unique bike for yourself....well done.
Thank you sir. I am kind of shocked of the positive feedback for the wheels, totally unexpected and figured I'd be on my own with the color choice. :) I still contend there is definitely better looking wheel colors to use for the bike, the next one will be more subtle as I've kind of gotten tired of seeing Shocker Yellow over the past 2 months, lol.

All depends on your goals. Swingarm extensions and new chain and brake line are cheap and easy, but personally I'd change the whole arm if racing or doing lots of high speed runs. My setup is adjustable from 4-6" and run a 240 wheel and tire, replica wheel design

Finally put 50ish miles on the bike today and snapped a few pics.

Starting to figure out how to make the shotgun boom more consistently, although I can't get it to do every time. I can only make it burble in 1st gear, no shotgun sound but 2/3 I can. 6k and above limit for it works great for a super sport but I feel it's too high for the busa to play around in town...... which is good and bad, lol. The inside of the muffler time is nice and clean now, knocked the soot out

I don't know why I'm so infatuated with these pops, bangs and flames. The inner kid in me, I suppose, lol

Any chance of you selling the sticker inserts for the kanji on the seat cowl… if that’s a sticker… that silver color you have all the others cut in would work for me. I’d need two if possible.

All decals and adhesive gone. GooGone sucks, but had some stuff I use before painting that is also afe on paint and glue came right off.

Suzuki lettering on the tank cover was a SOB compared to the rest. Heat gun @ 420F and a plastic razor blade made quick work of them.

Found my old can of Pledge, still works great. Really need to wipe the new chain down a 2nd time

While I have the opportunity and knowing this will be the cleanest the bike will ever be, I'll take the time to ceramic coat it this weekend.

A little too late to help you this time but in case u run into issues in the future I use this stuff that can be bought at most autoparts stores. It has worked well for removing the adhesive the decals leave behind and definitely better then goo gone. Had some other stuff I had from my buddy's old Collison shop that worked better but ran out and threw the can away and could never remember the name of it to find more and ended up finding this 3m stuff and it has helped a lot.

Which kickstand did you order to replace the Brockstand. I have a T-Rex already but haven't installed it yet.

It is vinyl and have plenty of colors, I'm sure we could work something out. It still needs to be tweaked for a better fitment, but currently looks decent from a few feet away. I'm planning to set up the cowl on the 3D scanner so I can get in the PC and get a perfect fit.
