Pic 39: And here is the fabled tail compartment. The downside to the tiger tail is that you basically lose your trunk. So if you do decide to get it, make sure you buy the tiger glove box which gives you a trunk in your hump. (The hump would also be a trick place to mold in some rear view cameras…..where are you cash fairy?) In the next few pics, you will see how small the trunk is, so it is basically just used for mounting electronics. Also notice the weather-stripping everywhere. Basically the tiger tail is not waterproof, and I wanted some measure to defend against a puddle here and there. Therefore I had the idea to take weather-stripping and put it around the electronics. When the hump (or passenger seat) is put on, it creates a (pretty good) seal, protecting the electronics. Like it?…..use it then. In this pic you can see the Blinder M-20 control unit (top of pic), the UFO taillight integrator control unit (bottom right), Speedohealer (bottom left), Powercommander (middle left), fuse block for the barswitch (middle), and another invention I thought up…a battery terminal block (middle right). Follow the red battery cable to a red block, and there it is (with a cover on it). Basically, as I said before, every now and then I kill my battery and I need to charge it again. I was sick and tired of taking off the seat pins to get to the battery (and I didn’t want to buy the quick release ones for security reasons), so I thought this up. Basically, you have access to the trunk with a simple turn of a key, so I decided to put some battery terminals in here to charge the bike. I’ve been using them, and I LOVE THEM!!!
